Hi, I’m Rachel, the founder of Property Hunt France. I moved to France from the US over 8 years ago. Since then I have dealt with countless situations involving the infamous French bureaucracy, including real estate and residency.

France is a wonderful place to live - the culture, the food, the way of life. I haven't regretted it for a minute. But that doesn't mean it isn't without its challenges. After going through housing rentals and purchases several times each, I realized just how difficult the French process can be for anglophones. I decided to quit my job as COO of a tech company and become a real estate agent in order to help other expats navigate property transactions more smoothly.

I have performed property renovations by hand, as well as managed renovation teams. I know what problem areas to look for, and if they might be costlier than the owner and seller’s agent are willing to let on. I am bilingual in both English and French, so I can help translate the trickier parts of the process for you.

As a buyer’s agent, my passion is helping people find their dream home in France. I communicate with you through calls, texts, and videos before you even step foot here, and work closely with you after your arrival. I have cultivated a network of trusted professionals in the real estate industry (agents, notaires, mortgage brokers) who work in all regions and cities of France and are ready to help you purchase your new home.
